Episode 10 of AOT portrays conflicts perfectly!

Attack on Titan's latest installment, episode 10 "Traitor" has portrayed the basic image of a conflict in the most perfect possible way. The episode starts with Annie conveying her plan to wipe out the Yeagerists and take control over the "Flying Boat", which incidentally happens to be an aircraft. She sees some discomfort straight away over the faces of Mikasa, Jean , Armin and Connie. When she asks them they say whether it's not possible to take the boat without any bloodshed. You see , the problem is , even though the Yeagerists are enemies of humanity at present, they are and will be the friends of Mikasa and company. They don't want to kill their friends and get their hands dirty.
It is quite evident from their words that they will not kill their cronies. So Annie confronts Armin that whether he has any plan to achieve the mission like he did with Annie when he surrounded her in a city corner. Connie out of frustration says that they set out to save people and to accomplish this goal they have to slaughter their own friends first! Annie hearing this compares them with herself, Reiner and Bertholdt. She says if those 4 would have been there they wouldn't have destroyed the wall. At the same time Reiner remembers what Eren said to him in Liberio. That him and Reiner are the same. He straight away understood what he meant by that. So he tries to mend his mistakes by not letting Mikasa and group do the same. He says they can volunteer but if they can't fight with their heart and soul devoted to it it's better to stay back with Gabi and Falco and spectate.
Magath comes down with Hange as they saw that Eren has already started crossing the sea as enormous amounts of steam from the sea filled the air. Hange estimated that it won't take him much time to reach Marley. Out of desparation Magath confronts Yelena and tries to torcher out information about where Eren plans to hit first. He breaks her arm as well. But then out of guilt he apologises to everyone. He apologises to Mikasa and group for his wrong views about Eldians and he also apologises to Reiner, Annie and Pieck because they were brainwashed and forced into this senseless bloodbath. He even calls Marley vile, which itself says that Magath 's views have considerably changed. As we all know war changes people, but this scene portrays this fact on an another level.
Armin devises a plan to take the boat without any bloodshed. Him and Connie race to Floch over horses and tells him that Annie, Reiner and Pieck are chasing Eren to stop him and they need the boat to go after them. He asks Floch to send the azumabito engineer's ASAP. And then they run to the boat. There they meet their old friends Daz and Samuel. Armin managed to make Daz defuse the explosives over the boat. But Floch , who was thinking too much about it got his ass kicked by Kiyomi😂😂. And then comes Mikasa. She kills a few soldiers and saves Kiyomi and the engineers. But this erupts in an all out battle.
Daz starts rearming the bombs and as Armin tries to stop him Samuel shoots Armin. Connie, when Samuel got distracted by Annie and Reiner's shifting into Titan's ,grabbed Samuel and tried to snatch the gun away from him. Armin also tried to stop Daz but when Daz pointed a gun on Armin 's head he didn't resist. Instead he was ready to die. Connie, at the right moment snatched the pistol out of Samuel 's hands and shot Daz in the head killing him and then he killed Samuel. He can't bear the guilt of killing his friends and his rage  breaks into helpless tears.
The episode climaxes with Armin remembering Bertholdt saying:-
"Someone has to be the one to do it, Someone has to be the one to stain their hands with blood."

This episode perfectly painted the situation of war. Senseless bloodshed leads to friends killing friends, people turning against their own families and families breaking apart entirely never to meet again. There are no friends in war, in any war. Opinions and sides are considered more important than the ones who helped that person during rough times. That is the bitter nature of human conflict😔😔.
